Markus Meindl on luxury: "It's the term luxury that has its own special meaning for us, and I want to explain it here. Luxury is usually associated with glitz and glamour. At Meindl, we see things a little differently. For us, luxury is not loud. It is quiet and discreet. For us, luxury means authenticity, the way and where it is produced, and what material is used for it. Hence the term „authentic luxury“.

Our products are never mass-produced and are made of materials that are subject to natural capacity limits and follow ecological principles. It is capacities in handwork, in tanning and finally in production, which naturally limit our products.

Precisely for this reason, each of our products is a very individual and unique garment with a modern culture and a living history."
